Been looking everywhere and trying all that i can no luck wondering if anyone has ideas? i recently did a rebuild on a 1.5 year old scooter that sat for about a year. had to change out cyl head.
changed to uni filter oiled it checked plug its kinda gray/brownish so i think im good psi at 130-170 valves at .005 for both no gasket between muffler and engine can be issue?
i have a black cyl object with vaccum hose attached to it its high up near the battery how can i remove this? what does it do and would this cause a air leak?
oil vent hose from valve cover is going into a plastic container strapped on the frame
carb has a 115 main jet pilot stayed the same
also i have a intake manifold with 3 ports on it going to vaccum lines i want to change it to one with 2 ports one to petcock and carb and other just blocked or somthing? can anyone explain the vaccum flow and what i can do to rid the possibilit of a vaccum air leak?
please any advice would be amazing

Maybe the needle on the carb diaphragm needs to be adjusted? If it has adjustments...mine has like 5 notch's on it. you put the c clip in one of the notch's and tighten the retainer to hold it in place.

the further the needle down the more lean correct? i never adjusted this before is it common to do so when going to a uni filter?

I think yes on the lean. People usually upjet after getting an uni. The 115 may be a bit too big. Some stay with 110, 112. I still have a stock air box. There's all sorts of needle sizes and adjustment settings and jets to play with.
Many people overlook the fact that the air box also provides support for the carb so it's not all on the intake.
Not sure about the third nipple on your intake. I can't remember for sure but I think mine only has one, then it splits to the decelerate valve and the petcock.
