I've seen people with helmets that fit formed to their head instead of giving you the mushroom look. what are these helmets called and where is a good place to get them?

You mean a foam bicycle helmet ? They offer NO protection . Only get a DOT approved helmet

Hi For me how i look wearing the helmet is immaterial, its the protection it can offer me that is of the most importance Take care and ride safely Yours Hank

I agree with Hank...I honestly don't care if I look like a giant dork in my helmet. If it helps prevent my brains from getting scrambled in a accident that is all I care about.

I've seen people with helmets that fit formed to their head instead of giving you the mushroom look. what are these helmets called and where is a good place to get them? these helmets are custom made helmets, the way they do it is they dip your head on a hot paraffin wax several times ,after several layers are formed they will remove the paraffin on your head and this will serve as the mold.,from there they will make a custom fit helmet for you. wanna try it?
