Hi there,
It's been years since I've been registered on this site and I'm finally making my first post. I have a 2008 Lance Vintage 150cc that's been sitting around for a couple years without any use. I know it won't start at this moment.
What I wanted to do is a few things to it... 1. New battery 2. 150cc to 170cc Big Bore Kit(Head, Cylinder, Piston, etc) 3. Performance CDI and Ignition Coil 4. New Spark Plug 5. New Hyrdraylic right brake level 6. 32mm Performance Carburetor 7. New Fuel Petcock and filter 8. New Oils (Engine and gears) 9. Possibly new belt.
I live in the San Fernando Valley area nearby Tarzana. I'm looking for a honest and experienced mobile mechanic to quote me labor and parts for this upgrade/service. I'm open to providing all the required parts and just require your labor as well.
If you have done this before and interested making a few bucks on a Saturday morning/afternoon, reply to this thread with your info.
Thanks!

The gearbox is not up to it on the Lance/Znen. You would have to go through the gear case and upgrade the bearings and put a higher quality variator and clutch or you could end up with vibrations that will shake it to death. The rear tire hugger and muffler are usually the first parts to fail/fall off once the bearings start to go.
