Okay, so I just bought this scooter (2009 Sym Fiddle II 125 cc) from a dealer a week ago. I've been doing some scooting around the neighborhood at low speeds (no more than 30 mph) to get some practice in. Anyway, both my husband and I have noticed a very loud, very crunchy-buzzing sound coming from the front of the scooter during deceleration. The noise goes away when the brake is applied and doesn't occur when accelerated. Literally only when the throttle is released and the scooter slows down.
We're pretty sure it didn't make this noise when we drove it home the first day. We're also pretty sure it sounds like it is getting worse.
Any ideas?

Take it back to the dealer, and have them fix it. Obviously, that doesn't sound normal.
