i have 150 gy6 china scoot.my ground wire on my right head light broke off.i could not reconnect due to riveted on plastic housing,so i grounded to screw next to light bulb.lights work great but now my battery keeps draining wont hold charge.does anyone know something about this..

You have to ground the BULB Socket, I bet the lights or lights or much brighter. It is drawing to much juice. You have to take it out and solder the ground to where it was connected on the socket that the bulb fits into. Don't forget the ground wire is grounded on the other end you are not grounding the BULB. Lefty

thanks.you are right the bulb is brighter.now the problem is trying to get the rivet out of plastic housing.there is no way to get to it.

i tried solder but having hard time getting it to stick to rivet.think its aluminum.
