Ok, I broke down and bought a 2005 Honda Reflex Sport, and all I can say is "Wow!". What a great scooter. It's an altogether different riding experience than my 150cc TaoTao.

Look at it this way, with proper maintenance that's the last time you'll ever say "broke down" and Honda Reflex in the same sentence.

The reflex is a little larger ride but all around very comfortable and safer feeling than the chinese bikes. My 89 honda elite LX sa50 rides better than a '12 tao tao cy50 t3. Congrats on the Honda also!

Saw one the other day for $1600 on Minneapolis Craigslist if anybody around the frozen north is looking for one.
Enjoy the new machine.

I like them so well that I have 3 of them. A Silverwing FSC600A too, but I prefer the Reflex scoots by far. Easy to work on (when needed) and easy to maintain, plus plenty of parts available too. And if you are not afraid to try something different, then a 145/70R12 car tire will work for the rear and will last as long as 6 scooter tires. (at least) My rear tire has 35,000 miles on it so far now. (and still has tread to spare) There are 145/80R12 car tires that will work too and one of them has an 80,000 mile tread wear warranty which would make it the last rear tire you would need for a long, long time. (my next tire for the rear) It works well for me. (The originator of car tire use on the rear of a Honda Reflex. So I do know about that which I speak of regarding that.) I'm just so bad that I'm...... well, BAD Currently starting a Vetter streamlining project for one of my Reflex scooters. Check out the Vetter website for the fairing story. www.craigvetter.com/pages/470MPG/Last%20Vetter%20Fairing.htmlDig that scooter junkies!!!

Ok, that decopod just looked like it was way to low and on a hard curve it could cause it to bottom out and slide. Neat looking though.
