I have all my lights/signals/break light turning on when turn ignition on but nothing when I pull brake and hit start switch. have a fully charged battery in it. My brake reservoirs show empty. Its been in the garage for a year with me replacing valves and springs. everything is wired up well and checked at least three times with a test light. main fuse shows power on both sides... everything. but no power sent to anywhere on engine when I try to start. I thought there must have been a mouse that chewed something from the ignition as well as somewhere on my brake lines. I think I saw some brake fluid on the bottom of my engine and on the underside of my gas tank so I pulled the front apart and I am about to take the floorboards and all that off as well. so far no wires or brake damages seen.
Is it possible my ignition switch could be broken and only sending power to light wires? the signals and horn also work just fine. I am about to take everything apart around instrument panel as well as floor boards. I have no idea what to think... Any ideas? ignition switch or other component that comes to mind that may have gone bad after this long out of service in the garage?

When you pull the brake does the break light go on? If not check the break switch at the break handles.
If the break ligth lights up: You don't happend to have the side stand down? Sometimes there's a switch that kills the starter on the side stand.

Try jumping the solenoid so you can confirm it is capable of spinning the starter. Also if you have a brake fluid leak get it cleaned up fast and don't pull the lever again until you are sure it is not leaking.
