I feel you! I want to save some money driving to work. Plus I hate feeling like a marshmallow driving down the road during winter time. COME ON SPRING...

Funny picture Cliftonc, but I'd have figured it would be warmer way down south.

Funny picture Cliftonc, but I'd have figured it would be warmer way down south. It generally is, but it is what one used to. This time of the year, there are regular cold fronts sweeping through, and the nighttime lows are anywhere from 50 to 30, and these fronts sweep through and push rain in front of the cold air masses. In the last 10 days, we have had 6 rainy ones, and it is raining today. The low tonight is predicted to be 46, tomorrow night 32. [sigh] i just don't have the physical mojo for it these days...

As you said, it is what one is used to. I consider weather you described as well into the beginning of the prime riding season and not quite near the end of the prime riding season.

Yeah. [sigh] I used to do it, but the medical issues are closing in on me. It is turning me into a real fair-weather rider.

Yeah. [sigh] I used to do it, but the medical issues are closing in on me. It is turning me into a real fair-weather rider. Yes, me too. I used to year round here in NE Ohio. We just have different standards of fair weather which changes with age and passion level. I would huddle around an AC during a deep south summer.
