Used black Plasti-Dip on all orange parts of scooter since orange didn't help visibility as I thought it would. Now I'm black and silver... looks good to me (won't look good to perfectionists). Pics to follow later.

Yeah I'll post a pic from daylight shot tomorrow. I got a bad can; the spray was not uniform and was beaded on contact. While the front and left side came out ok, the right side was really rough, mostly because I was getting to the end of the can and it starting spraying out blotches, so that sucked. Then, since I used packing tape instead of masking tape (didn't have any) I ended up peeling some off when yanking the tape off that protected non-paint areas. So, while this will do for now, I'll end up having to get several more cans and re-do the whole thing later. The parts that did come out smooth looked really good. Just a soft, matte black.
EDIT: I just didn't like the way it botched up so I peeled it off. It wasn't a uniform spray like you see in the YouTube vids, but more like a spray you would see from a 409 bottle; no good. Only thing I left black was the remaining portion of my broken rack and the bottom panels, which still look bad but the words "Super Motor" are covered up and rightly so. If it had been uniform, I would have left it on and it would have looked awesome. Oh well. A $6 experiment.
