Ok I have a tao tao VIP. 50cc. Now hypoththetically if tit bought a gy6 159cc engine and the motor mount on monstergy6 would it miunt up to my frame or would I have to weld some brackets? Which is doable. I wish I woulda thought about this before I soent all my taxes on upgrades for my 50. But would that work? Then just buy the tire rim n hub? Or am I missing something? Thanks guys. If it would work I know what I'm saving for this summer

don't put a strecth kit on a tao put it on a ruckus its known to work with the ruckus and looks great, for the price of the kit you could buy nearly four tao's.

I wouldn't buy the whole kit.. I would just buy a 150cc engine the motor mount hub n wheel. I don't need all the performance shock n others as I already have good enough stuff

(Granted it has the skinny tire instead of fat but still it shows what the tao stretched wiuld look like) I think it looks bad ass Attachments:

It's pretty easy to do if you have fab skills.
You'll need a motor, hub, and wheel & tire. Then simply offset the motor in the frame, weld up some mounts, and wire it up. Be careful with the length of the stretch though because then cables need to be longer and that can be a real pain to sort out.

Would be easier to buy a 150 scooter . Those huge tires will take away the engine ability to work as good
