so going along for about a mile and decide to wot it for a few seconds to get around this slow ass in his car ( sunday driver ) then all of a sudden it shuts off so theres me thinking ive fu**ed something up so i pull to the side of the road and found out the damn ht lead cap poped off the spark plug btw it was on tight and snug before hand..so i guess its time for a new ht lead

all you can do is open it up and find the damage, hopefully it just fell off.

it is pretty loose where as before it was abit of a job just pulling it off now god it just slips off ill get a replacement anyway as no doubt it worn inside the cap

oh yeah no problem..might have to do some sort of bodge job untill i get a replacement...and on the subject of one thing after another i snaped a bolt in the cvt case arghh lucky tho the cover still comes off going to drill it out then re-thread it, i must stop overthighting things

Oh ok so you just have to replace the coil? I snapped many bolts before too i don't now, plus i replaced all the bolts and screws on mine with quality stuff from the hardware store.

You dont need a whole coil. Just go to a motorcycle or lawnmower shop and get a new spark plug cap. They cost about $2.50

Im dont know about hardware stores in england, but i replaced all the screws and bolts on mine for under 20 bucks.
