So on my way home from work I filled up at the gas station for $2.23 and about half way home I noticed my fuel gauge was as low as it goes when you turn the key off.. I tried to shake the scooter to maybe nock the float thing loose if it was caught on something, but nothing :/ I've sorta been wanting to replace it with a more accurate gauge with more marks, anyone know where I could find a cheap one that hooks up to the stock cables? And my speedo have never worked right since I bought the scooter used, and I read on here that it's because it is made for 13" tires and my tires are 10" so it says I'm going 80mph at 45-50mph, and I see those little bell digital speedos on here a lot, and was wondering how those work and if I could like cut out the stock speedo and your put it inside the dash plastic thing, and do the same with the fuel gauge? Lol Help would be greatly appreciated because I use this for work and school everyday! And need it fixed! And I also need back brakes lol! This is the dash plastic thing Attachments:

The speedo you cannot do much about it to fix it. They use the same HUB gear for just about all the scoots and your right if it had 13" wheels it would be pretty accurate. The best you can do is cut out some sticky numbers and stick them on the outside of the glass to tell you the actual speed your going. So cut out numbers from 0-7 each number representing 10 mph increments then you can tell if your going 30-40 or anywhere inbetween. Of course you will have to determine where to place the numbers to be at least close to your actual speed. Get a marker and get someone to help, and ride along side them and get up to 10mph and mark it then 20 and mark it and so on. Then you can stick the numbers on the marks.
As far as the FUEL GAUGE IT will register NADA when you turn the key off JUST LIKE A CAR. It is Electric so no juice it reads ZERO try it turn the key on and the gauge should move up. Sam

With the scooter on and running it was all the way past empty, and my tank was completely full, I know you have to turn the key for the gas gauge to move, I've known this since I traded my Xbox for this scooter.. But thanks anyways Sam.

Reading empty when full first check if the sensor plug did not come loose from the harness. If it is plugged in then your float is stuck in the down position get a piece of wire and fish inside the tank gently with the KEY on and move the float see if it then registers when you move it. If when you stop moving it up and down it drops again then the Arm on the Swivel plate that has the little brushs are not making contact with the Resistor Plate. In that case you will have to take it out and tighten or loosen the little push on washer so the brushs on the swivel plate make contact with the resistor plate . Sam
