I found a dealership selling this 2006 Kymco Xciting 250 with only 1000 miles on it for $1600 bucks. I know Kymco is an excellent brand, but I'm wondering if there's some underlining problems because they're selling it so cheap. The dealer said the bike was layed down once but has no issues or problems. Seeing I'm not experienced with scooters what questions should I ask and what should I look for before I drop $1600 for this? Attachments:

It should be a very good scooter and solid performer for many years. $1600 seems like a good price to me.
Two things:
First it is a carbed model, they did not go to fuel injection until a few years later.
Second, it is on the bigger, heavier side of 250 scooters, but Kymco engines are stronger than most generic Chinese 250's.
But if that is what you are looking to spend, you could do much worse. Kymco's are very reliable, and that bike has pretty much depreciated to the point where if you don't like it, you can get most of what you paid for it two years from now.
Do a PDI and maybe change the fluids.
