Hello everyone,
Been a while.
I have been thinking of upgradeing my gy6 150 (157qmj) 24mm carb as the more I order parts for it the more parts I get that dont seem to be for it specifically - or are not the advertised specifications on way or another.
Soooooooo..... If I was to buy a new cab ( thinking a 2mm upgrade) to the 26mm size what would be a good make and model ??
I would like to have a genuine Japanese designed and made carb that actually is made for a honda 150cc but finding both the correct type and a "whole" honda Japanese carb has been a challenge I cant seem to conquer.
Any ideas / imput would be greatly appreciated. ;D

Just curious why you want to upgrade to a 26mm carb? All you really need if the motor can take it is more fuel and air and the 24mm you have can put a lot of fuel into the motor by just upjetting it. I have a bored out 157QMJ just like your motor running a 122 main jet with a 38 pilot jet and free flow filter and free flow exhaust. And a 125 main is to much fuel and a 40 pilot is to much fuel.
So for the money you want to spend on a Japanese carb(THEY ARE EXPENSIVE) that money can be better spent on something that will you more speed and stronger take offs and getting up to speed quicker. Sam
