OK I'm gonna start with I love this site spent the last few hours just reading posts which spawned a few more questions I should say my scoot is all stock minus the unrestricted part from the dealer which was the sleeve thing and the bigger jet it came with from kymco so I'm wondering what I can do to my scoot as far as basics that won't require a bigger jet and exhaust I saw on one were the stock muffler can be modified from the restrictions it come with by cutting the pipe extra off and some washer restrict inside the pipe question is if I do that will I need a bigger jet as well even though it's stock?also just general things i can do and were to start also saw a unrestricted cdi can i put that on stock without adding more stuff any and all suggestions would be appreciated

welcome I also have a kymco scoot I have the agilty 50 nice ride. kymco scoots are a little dif. then some scoots because they run ac and dc volts the cdi is ac and the lights and the others runn of the battery and the stator. the cdi box on mine had to be cut and I replaced the jet with a 82 and the drive sleave was replaced with a smooth one. I just put a open air fiter on it and up the jet to a 85 scoot now does 45 or better. befor doing things to your scoot beware of the dif things on your scoot then others. a lot of things you can find on youtub good luck.

Exhaust will allow more RPM and have more top end speed and will require upjetting
