I have a kymco 50 agilty. its been good to me so far. had to get a push home the other day scoot would not start. got home charged the battery put new plug in and she fired right up. went to go to work the next day nothing. checked the plug it was black. cleaned it up put it back in after recaping it she fired right back up. after leting it run for while then shoting it off it wont start back up plug turned all black again.

Check your air intake,if it's clear. Check/replace your gasoline, and check/replace your hoses. Also check if the spark plug does not leak somewhere (if the spark plug seal/gasket) is mounted (like a copper ring).

Never mind got it running must of just been a bad plug......Good thing I buy theam in 2s..

your getting to much gas..go down in main jet size

Yes it is getting to much fuel, check your air filter it may be all clogged with gas and dirty. That will restrict air flow and make it run rich. Or the Fuel Ratio screw is set to rich in that case turn it CLOCKWISE to lean it out some. Sam

Have to get a new filter think about going back to stock box filter. besides that well keep water out when rideing in the rain or bad weather.
