i have recently fixed the motor to my roketa mc-20 150cc scooter. the top end seized up on me and i got it rebuilt. but still wont start. i do not know much about motors at all. i do not know if the carburetor is even hooked up right. when i go to start it, it turns over but it doesn't start. i thought the battery might be low, so i charged it. that didn't fix the problem. can anyone give me any advice on how to resolve this issue?

Have you check to make sure you have spark? If not take spark plug out and place back in spark plug cap and ground it to the frame and crank it over, see if you have spark. if you have spark check all the vacuum line to make sure they are good, make sure they are tight. It may take a good many cranks to start to build that vacuum again. some pic of the carb area would be helpful.

Put some gas in a cap, like 1/2 oz let the vac hose suck it in while cranking . If it spudders or starts connect the vac hose quickly. It might be all you need.

I've done some work on my scoot and would not start, loosen top of carb (diaphragm area) sprayed carb cleaner in and re-tightened, fire right up.
