A Riva with a starting problem is worth 500 here in St Louis, at least thats what I sold my 86 180 deluxe with the same problem, I paid 600 the year before. Do you have the title for it? If not its worth less. My title was current and registered. The guy selling the one on yakaz wont ever ever ever ever get that for it. Never. They werent great scoots compared to the honda 125 2 stroke and had several problems. I rode mine for 1 year then got rid of it for 100 less than I paid.

I would try for 800 and see what you can get personally, if it is in good condition besides it takes 2 minutes of electric starting, if it starts at all after, then 800 would be a good area to start at. Maybe try 1000 obo max, I just wouldnt post it too high or it may never even get offers.

I'm looking at selling my '87 XC200 as well. Works great and starts no issues after several tear down and rebuilds after being in storage for 16 years.. I've was offered 900$ for mine last year, but hesitated and ended up not selling..Should have in hind-sight..oh well..
Best of luck
