Wow that higher than I would have guessed it to be . Hondas are very well made but parts are pricey for genuine Honda parts

am I crazy for wantig to buy a scooter at my age with no experience riding one Might depend on if there are any nefarious motives by others . . example. If you are in denial about the potential injury risks, and enhanced odds of becoming an organ donor, you should give it a lot more thought.

My father-in-law bought his first bike (Harley) when he was 62. He's been riding for 3 years now.
Take a riding course. It may seem silly on these, but with no experience it could really keep you much safer. And most states will not make you take the riding test to get your license.

One comment that sticks in my mind regarding the value of taking the course is what a dealership salesmen once commented to me. He said, he'd been riding a motorcycle for 20 years and never took the course. He decided to take it last year, just for the heck of it...he had nothing to lose. He told me it was an eye opener. He had learned things he'd never learned during all his years of riding.
That made an impact on me.
