Hello, now to scooters here. I volunteered a thrift store for about 3 weeks, a Bamoto 150CC scooter came in and they gave it to me in exchange for my time. It's in kinda rough shape, most of the fuel lines are falling apart, the key switch is broken, and it didn't come with a battery. I replaced most of the lines and injected some gas into the motor, and it ran for a while, so i figured its worth putting money into.
My main problem is that i can get the starter to work, I have a spare car battery ive been using to test with, all the lights, blinkers, brake lights work fine, but the second i hit the starter switch the wires get really hot and it blows the fuse.
Any Ideas what I should do? Any suggestions are appreciated, id be really interested to get this thing working.

check your ground wires should be 2 one coming off the battery to the frame and one from engine to frame

Alright, thanks for the suggestion. I found a manual for it, im going to begin testing all the wires to see if theses a short or loose connection somewhere.
