How is the parts avail on the gy6-B ? All my experience is working on the CN250 clones and those parts are everywhere.
I'm looking at a scoot with 16" wheels and the "b" motor.
A quick search suggests that the "B" series parts may be hard to find.
Thanks

You can get them at like 4 to 6 times the cost . What do you need ?

I like the big wheels on the cassini and was just concerned about parts. Thanks again

Youll know if you had a B or not by the length of the cranks "arms". Theres a few other signs but its all internal. Being as you dont know I would assume you have a normal GY6. Its near impossible to find a crank for one for sure. That site doesnt have much besides a starter gear and kick starter gear.

basically "B" engines have a 57mm engine stud spacing instead of the standard 54mm stud spacing as found in most GY6 150cc engines. For High Performance parts Taida makes very nice parts but very expensive! I have also had issues in locating stock parts for those engines

The B engine has a different CVT as well, with a 125mm variator, 25x15 rollers, and a 906 22 30 belt, as I recall.
Several scooters are badged differently, but are essentially the same.
Flyscooter Cadenza Znen Phoenix Puma Falcon
Plus a couple others I can't remember, but if it has 16 inch wheels, it's a B. I've got a Cadenza that's still new, I'm waiting to wear out or destroy some scoots before I put it into service, but it's taking forever.
We had another Cadenza and it ran very well at 65MPH indicated, and we tried souping it up with heavier rollers and bigger jets, but stock condition ran the best, so we restored it to original, then sold it on craigslist. It's a good scooter, the dude who runs it now loves it.
Look up Puma Cycles for the Falcon, they have most of the parts.

Interesting because we have a few "B" engines here and everything is the same except for the stud spacing. Must be different variations out there.

This scoot can Realy go 65 mph, I'm impressed if not shocked.

Externally the GY6 B, as already stated, has 16 inch wheels. One thing that does stick out is that the valve cover bolts are in the center of the valve cover, not around the edges. At least on the one we worked on. After tearing it down, we did see that the stud spacing for the jug and head are different, so then so is the head gaskets. The head externally did not look like a standard GY6. I have been told it is also called a GY6 - 3.
John at Valley can tell you more.

The tank 150cc with 16 inch wheels is the one I work on most around here. The crank and the case is noticeably wider, and the valve cover is a different shape actually. Its B specific. And of course the things also mentioned.
