I got my 170 bbk installed and want to thank this forum and fellow dogs for all the help and nowledge attained. I took it out to the highway today and ran it at 55mph Gps for about a half mile. It still had more power and Rpms but I don't want to take any chances and brake it in to hard. It was 32degrees out and a cold ride. Faster accelleration and less strain on the engine was apparent. I am running a drilled 133 main jet. Opened up factory air cleaner. Stainless suzuki straight thru muffler. And performance head. Valves. And cam that came witjh the kit. I used a rotary file in a high speed drill to mill a couple of spots in the crankcase so that the bottom of the 63mm OD cylinder would slide in easily. It was a fun project and am looking forward to warmer weather and some fine tuning.

I got the kit here for $100 www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0077CW6GU/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00My kit came with a performance cam that is not shown in the listing. I don't know if this was a mistake by the seller or if they all come with the cam. I had to buy a non emission valve cover as the kit is the old style head without the emission junk. $20 on E-Bay.
