Hey gang. I asked earlier about the Motorino Cassini 150. But I just love the classic look of the Amorie. I'm buying one of the two but just can't make up my mind, help me out ! Thanks !

Weight capacity is about the same. Driving-wise, the taller tires and bigger fuel tank , so the Cassini has my vote. Still depends on what your use is going to b for it

Yeah the 16" wheels play big for me. You lose a little of the "snappy" handling of smallers wheels but there is a bennifit for those short blasts on the highway.
But the Amorie does look good.......

The Amore does look pretty nice. I would be a little worried about all that chrome. If it's not good quality it can rust and pit up

Don't know which is which. Personally, I like the yellow one. Okay, out of the two you're really meaning, I like the top one. Looks like bigger tires which typically give a smoother (but not as agile) ride. Also comes with a top case, which I'm not a fan of but is a bonus. Have you actually sat on each? Does one fit you better? Or are they both pretty much the same? If so, then just go for whichever one YOU like best. >'Kat

maybe broaden your choices to include the Lance Cali Classic, Havana Classic or the new Lance PCH....all under 2 grand with a 2yr fender to fender parts/labor warranty

I looked at the lance and the Amorie and IMO the lance is not worth a 40% premium. After a close look at both the difference is negligible. I've owned both SYM and Znen over the last few years and in all honesty I've had little trouble with either.
Great video , pretty scoot and obviously plenty of happy owners judging by the recent batch of posts on the scoot forums.

Trust me the 40% premium is well worth it. You may not see it but the Cali Classic is in reality a Sym Allo. Sym is probably the premier Asian scooter maker, it's Taiwanese made not China made. This makes all the difference in quality.
In particular the ceramic cylinder in the Cali Classic and the general durability of the engines means they will last much longer. At most the average 150cc Chinese scooter engine will last 20,000 miles if you're lucky. The Sym engines have been known to regularly last 40,000 miles or more with reports of engines lasting upwards of 80,000 miles in Asia where scooters are used and abused every day.
The fit and finish is so much better too. The Chrome on my Sym Wolf still looks brand new after 6 months. After just two my old BMS V9 evo made by Znen had the speedometer face cracking and fading, all the chrome bits were flaking and the "stainless" parts were rusting.

Thanks all for your input on this thread and the gy6-b thread.
I have decided on and ordered the Cassini for a few reasons. Local dist who answers both his phone and questions, the larger wheels and most important "Cassini" rhymes with my last name........good reason huh.
I already have a "speed challenged" scoot and wanted the next to be able to take on exit or two on the highway need be. Not even a thought of that on the trike.

I have an older version of the Amori and I'm very happy with it (mine's even the same color as the one pictured). I don't really like the looks of the other one but, I do like the color and big wheels a huge plus. Down side to the Amori, is even for valve adjustments, the whole rear section of plastics has to come off including the floor board if your hands are bigger. From what I understand, the newer ones are a little wider and if you have a lift, you can get in without removeing the plastics but it's still tight in there.

Yeah the Amorie has that classic look, and I love the naked bars.
In the end it was a apples and oranges thing. I first looked at the Cassini from a purely practical stance as to how I would be using it. Then I saw the Amorie and just loved that look. But at the end of the day the Cassini was a better fit.
For now I'll leave room in the shop for that Amorie , never know .....
