I just did a oil change and had 2 quarts . One syn and non syn. Same name brand and weight. Anyways i put alittle bit of the syn with the non syn. I use the syn for my GSXR 1K . Can i keep the mixed oil in my scooter or do i need to do another oil change? Thanks

Yes, you just created a Syn-Blend. It's commonly used and some advise it over full syn. for scooters.

To my understanding it's all right to mix dyno and syn but we don't get a synthetic blend, to get a blend there exists a specific chemical process that is followed at the factory in order to get the benefits of a synthetic at a slightly lower price, however straight up mixing syn and dyno is no better than running straight dyno.

chemicals are thinned out a bit, oil life of the syn is lowered, while that of the dino is lengthened. Good for when you have the first 500 miles on your scoot, or when the scoot is very old, and a lot of exhaust gasses go into the oil (and oil needs to be replaced often). Saves you a few bucks or two.
