fluid capacity on roketa 250B

I have checked several different sources and they all have a different recommendation on the engine oil capacity and the gear oil capacity I checked with the tech rep at roketa.com and he told me that the gear oil is 10oz or 300ml. As for the engine oil he said it took .8l or 800ml but when I put in the engine oil it didn't even come up on the dipstick so I used a turkey baster to add a little oil at a time until it came up to about 3/4 of the way on the hash marks and took about 1.1l to fill it up are these the right amounts. It's a little hard to read the dipstick because it is black is there any where that you can get a dipstick of a different color for this type of engine

I have a MC-54-250b roketa scooter, engine oil (changing oil) 1qt. and 1/4 (I use 10w40) gear oil no more than 7-8oz. (I think I use 85/90) Dip stick should be on the middle hash mark, checking oil put dip stick in without screwing in.
