malossi piston kits need their own matching crank as they are not universal

I have saw some of them and Polini use 13mm instead of 10mm or 12 like most do

i know i keep seeing all the 12-13mm wrist pin crankshafts but no 14. alot of the bbk's i see for malossi that are 55 or bigger use a 14mm wrist pin maybe its for high end italjets 180 or zip 180 or others?

how about sharing with us how you did the rear brake conversion are you sure that kit is even for your motor if it is then malossi should also make a crank for it

None of those cranks except the POS jiangwayne are for your engine. I wouldnt trust that john wayne crank with my Malossi cylinder. Are there no other cylinder kits for your 57?

malossi piston kits need their own matching crank as they are not universal Where did you get this information from? I have used Malossi kits on horizontal and vertical minarellis, morinis, horizontal and vertical hondas and never seen anything come up stopping me from using the cylinder and piston kit designed for the bike I bought it for. Ive bought near 3k in malossi cylinders and such. I like polinis a lot as well and havent ever had a fitment issue. Im curious as to who said they wont work with a stock crank. And if so Malossi needs to be contacted about this.

Hmmm could have been mistaken but I know Ive seen 13 or 14mm instead of 10 or 12 and read Polini or malassi had to use their cranks

10mm is for vert minas and hondas and av7 morinis, 12mm is horizontal minas and AF16+ hondas and av10 morinis, MBK uses 13mm and italiajets and other 100cc Minas use 14mm. I havent seen 13mm on the Mina derived 100ccs but Im sure its possible but it would be odd. Ive worked on the AeroXs, italiajets, and a big chief 100cc and also the bw100 engine, which isnt the same. different spacing etc, it uses a 14mm also.

i bought a rally scooter for 250 and it had rear disc breaks so i took the housing off the rally engine and put it on my 110cc 2 stroke engine and it worked fine the only problem is i had to use a longer output shaft ..thus pressing a diff gear on the longer shaft. and i had a disc break rim for the rear. but thers a malossi bbk 57mm on ebay look for (yamaha aerox big bore) key words and youll see it. some of the biggest ive seen
