Glenn, You linked from your dealer account. Almost all the folks here won't be able to open that link. www.modcycles.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=MC&Product_Code=MGMP0108_75CC_10mmpin&Category_Code=This one should work. This kit is probably on par with a HOCA or NCY kit, as they are both Taiwanese performance brands, and this part is listed as made in Taiwan. This being said, I can't confirm this as it is Modcycle's own brand, so I don't know who actually made the kit. But if the kit is made in Taiwan, then it should be of higher quality than pretty much any Chinese made part available for less on Ebay. It may not make much more power, but it should make that power more reliably. Matt

I have one . I bought mine from Amazon and found it here shop.jupiterscooters.net/Cylinder-kit-75cc-Minarelli-10mm-wrist-pin-Made-in-Taiwan-MGMP0108-75CC-10mmpin.htm I need new rings since the oil pump fizzled and will be ordering the piston kit from them and reusing the block and head . It can hit 11,000 with MMG pipe and Uni running 110 main jet . I will go with a K&N airfilter and Hoca intake with FB or CF reeds . I can pop a wheelie at 50 MPH its a beast . Unsure of top end as its hitting 50 at 8,500 with 5 gram rollers . I now have 8g Dr P sliders with 1.5 clutch and contra spring along with the bb contra spring thing

Found the culprit!! Aside from the 4 soft seizes when kit was new...due to oil pump failure and the scoring it left...one day I noticed I was losing power and once engine was warmed up it would drop at WOT from 50...slowly down to 35. Then take off and power was weak. Put piston without rings in cylinder and you could see daylight around it. .005 wire gauge fit a bit loose in the piston/cylinder gap. Piston also seemed out of round. Then When I looked at the cylinder....I found what ya see in the pic here. A small chunk is missing from other side and this port area was completely cracked while the other side had a hairline crack. Did notice light scoring on my crank from the broken port side.....all around the one side balance weights on the crank. But crank should be fine. I am thinking piston flop may have cause this at the bottom of the stroke? Anybody have any ideas? New BBK is on it's way. Attachments:

My pump is a Mikuni Chinese clone..so my cable should work... After the 1st 4 soft seizes I used premix...pulled the oil line off...revvved the engine and held it. After about 30 seconds only ONE tiny drop of oil came from it. POS! Not sure the port crack and the missing piece were caused by that as it ran great for 6 months. Then the other day it started losing power and I found that. Was surprised it even had any compression as with the rings off the piston and the piston pushed into the cylinder...I could see lots of daylight all around the piston /cylinder gap.

Still curious if anyone has seen this happen...and what may have caused it. Piston slap from the worn piston?..Cheap casting?...Overheated?..

Matt Matt..I may be a waste of your time as I am a small town business. Therefore I only typically order things in quantities of 6-12 items each.. But that is up to you folks to decide. Would be curious to know the wholesale discount as your shipping is 10 times faster than my 2 wholesalers in China....and the other in Miami sells me parts only a few pennies under retail..and some are higher...

Mikuni oil pumps are for 2Ts . The stock oil pump does not need the cable part 159-26 like the Mikuni does . Got the # from Brent

Got the # from Brent Ah ok...I won't need the cable then...my original oil pump was a Chinese Mikuni clone...so it has the cable and looks identical to the Mikuni. In answer to your previous question...getting an airsal 70cc Aluminium Sport Kit.
