I'm looking to find a cheep under $100 scooter exhaust on eBay or amazon to replace the crappy looking one on my scooter! But I have no idea which ones will fit where it is supposed to be bolted on! If someone could please help me out, I will put pictures of my moped and the brackets and the exhaust! Thanks! And maybe you could link me to a couple that will fit!! I like black colored ones! Haha thanks!! Attachments:

Forum sponsor Parts for Scooters has decent exhausts and you will be keeping the money spent in the family so to speak.

But at parts for scooters the exhaust are $300+, but I am buying now rear brake shoes from them, mine squeal so bad.
And I was already looking at that exhaust you(first guy) sent me a link to, I just wasn't sure if it would fit my moped, so thank you!!

That exhaust for $80 is what I have, I did have to knock off those two brackets that stick out of the header so it would fit on my 157qmj 150cc but an angle grinder and a couple of minutes, just be careful not to grind too far it's really not that hard considering the price.

You don't happen to have a picture of the mod and a picture of that exhaust on your scoot do you? I would love to see it. I'm trying to weigh out my options for my verona retro scoot exhaust.

rockynv - Thanks for catching that! bronut - We do have one GY6 Exhaust that is $300+, but most of our exhausts are quite a bit less than that. pfsnew.com/Welcome?search=gy6+exhaustThe first two exhausts listed are $149 (one of them is the one that Rockynv linked to) and they are both made in Taiwan, not China. For they money, they are really good stuff. Matt

Well, I am not sure why you are replacing your exhaust and unfortunately my scoot is souped up so I was thinking you wanted that, speaking for myself if it costs $80 it hardly matters to me might as well get the performance version but... Only later did it occur to me that not everybody thinks like I do and that you might have wanted the stock muffler, I don't know, the $80 performance muffler is a bit louder but it also gives the scoot more power, up to you. Here's a close-up picture of where I had to grind off that bracket, one might assume that the bracket got in the way of the oil catch can but the catch can came later, simply put the bracket served no purpose, it got in the way and the bolt holes would not line up, so after some initial frustration I ground it off with an angle grinder, right near where the pipe meets the muffler, that little rectangular piece sticking out between the pipe and the catch can just to the right of that hose clamp is what's left of it: Attachments:

First off... I OWN A SCOOTER.. Lol then when I said the exhaust in parts for scooter are $300+, that's because I couldn't find a black one for cheap. I don't like the look of chrome/stainless steel.
And is it okay to just have the exhaust bolted to the bottom of the engine? And not anywhere else? The pipe won't bend or it won't go up and down or anything? And I always want more power! Lol but I was thinking to just have my neighbor who is really good at welding and stuff maybe just bend the mounts the the right spot?

And would it matter if I bought a exhaust on eBay that says its for a 50cc?
