My scooter is virtually soaked in CorrosionX right now. I sprayed every metal I could find XD. 12v connections, accessory plugs, nuts, bolts, everything but the motor (not sure if it's really safe since this is flammable). Coated the CDI, coil on both ends and the chrome on the exhaust which was rusting (I purposely left it off of the end cap so I can show y'all the difference with a photo after I let it work for a while). Where I live, as moist as it is in SE VA, it is nice to be able to ride confidently after all of the videos and posts I've read about this kickazz product. Advised to all! And as I am the type to test everything, I will be out in the next rain riding through the biggest flood puddles I can find. EDIT: pic added. This is after spraying side exhaust chrome (which looked identical to rear before treatment) and wiping it down the next day with a magic eraser (meh). Anyway, this product is not primarily for rust removal (CorrosionX makes a Rust Remover) but it's more for moisture displacment and rust prevention, thereby. It does, obviously, remove some rust. Enough for my needs. (And I know the idea was to upload a full scooter pic for this post but she's not as clean as I'd like her to be so it'll have to wait).

300th post deemed acceptable I wish we got enough moisture for that to be needed Blessings

I live in FL where it's always humid and salty... I might get some of this. My scooter has little rust spots in several places already!

done the same to my motorcycle. Corrosion X does make things dirty when leaving a thick layer, for that, I spray it on a little towel, and rub it on the metal parts after a cleaning. After that, I dry the parts with a dry part of the towel, leaving a micro film over the metal. Next project for hank, is painting his house with corrosion x

waterboysh, I'd recommend that if you're specifically going after rust, get the Rust Remover vs. the basic CorrosionX (although both would be ideal).

300th post deemed acceptable I wish we got enough moisture for that to be needed Blessings Not sure what your annual rainfall is but based on all the videos I've seen, you could justify the purchase just to make the electrical system fairly waterproof when driving in rain or going through puddles.

Today, it's nice and wet here so I'm going to test out how well this spray works... gonna hit every puddle I can, twice! CorrosionX to the test.
