could only watch a few minutes of this even tho it says no one died, it was painful to watch.
but if you notice, most of it was riders faults, but this is in the far east--not sure where where they drive like nuts, on scooters or cages.

Everyone should have a helmet cam. You can get Keyfob or Gumstick ones now for less than $10. Might as well capture your death or at least the license plate of the ******* who almost killed you.

This is the one I got, but they lied about resolution (I wrote the sole review). I ended up getting it free anyway, because I did an Amazon A to Z claim, to return it for having the wrong resolution, and the seller say don't worry about it (keep it) so I used the gift card on something else Anyway, it works fine; I (dangerously? doubt it) slide it beside my temple, between the ear pad and top portion of my helmet and it does a fine job. About 1.5 hours recording time. I'll post a couple video links. Just go on Amazon or Ebay or google hidden cameras. Here's my product: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009DBVC2W/ref=oh_details_o06_s00_i00

that's an example of video/audio w/camera mounted inside and face shield down. I applied the YouTube "fix" for shaky video which was only a result of my movements so that's what accounts for the stretchy effect in the middle. Not bad. Other ideas here in the forum, too, just search for camera.

Awesome. The other thing I like about this one is that you can change the date/time. It's hard to do on some of the models. You may want to bookmark this site as it is the definitive reference for keychain cams (lots of people use them on rockets and RC stuff like planes, boats, and cars). www.chucklohr.com/808/index.shtml

Hi I dont think so If you read some of the comments posted to the videos most are viewing them as entertainment rather then a learning experience I wasn't trying to single any one out or antagonize in the least And i do apologize to those i did I myself have posted videos such as the ones here Imho the best way to be safe is to wear all your gear have the proper training for the level of motorbike your going to be riding , practice, practice, practice and always watch your 6 The decisions that you make in a unexpected situation will always have an effect on outcome Take care and ride safely dear friend Yours Hank

I view these to see if there is anything that I am currently doing that has been at the root of the crashes.
Being in a hurry seems to be the underlying theme in most of these crashes. On a few riding over traffic lines and other features painted or laminated to the road especially when it is wet out or while negotiating a turn, a lane change or during heavy braking seems to be a major factor.
Being selfish and having a me-first attutude is seen in many too especially in the ones where a rider coming up from behind tries to cut through a group of other riders at a traffic stop or intersection and beat them across.
Tail gating and poor braking technique are evident too.
Take the opportuinity to see the similarities to oneself and make the resolve through self discipline to take corrective action before you become a participant in of one of these types of incidents.
A smart person learns from their own mistakes while the wise will learn from the mistakes of others.

@wutz well i wear glasses also im gonna hunt on amazon tomorrow and see what i can see thanks you may want to look at the gum pack or gumstick cameras then but part of why I get the keyfob one is that I could use it for it's intended purpose (so to speak) which is putting it on a keychain and taking photos/videos stealth-like, which I would use for questionable situations involving official-type people, mostly. But I haven't used it for any of that yet; just as a helmet cam but I do have the option.

You are correct Hank, proper training and protective gear does make two wheeling much safer, but as we can see in the vid. There's a huge difference between riding a scooter, and riding a scooter in traffic. There's a lot more to this than just going out and buying a scooter. While I enjoy the fact that my 50 doesn't require registration, I believe an M1 and safety course should be. Ride on friend.
