Where can I find a good hose diagram so I can hook up a carb, engine, airbox etc. Also is it necessary to hook up a carb emissions canister and is that the same thing as a pcv?

Removing the vapor cannister in no way improves perfermance unlike the PAIR or EGR system . PCV is a blowby valve to allow excess presure to escape rather than blow a gasket

Take a picture of what you got and I can draw you a diagram with changes if you want to take any emissions off.

This scooter used to have an EGR type engine but I just installed a brand new non EGR engine. The main difficulty I'm having is trying to figure out what to do with all these extra hoses. In this first pic there is a big black hose on the left that used to connect to the EGR valve head. Sorry I don't know how to post mulitple pics so I'll have to do this one by one. Attachments:

I don't know what you call this part but the small tube goes to intake manifold. A large tube goes to the airbox and the other large tube used to go to the EGR valve head as shown in the first pic. Attachments:

Again I'm not sure what you call this part but one tube goes to the gas tank, one to the intake and one to the air box. This canister says PCV on it. Attachments:

This is the snorkel on the airbox where the two tubes from each of the canisters meet. This all seems unnecessary now but what do I know. What is the best way to set this up? Thanks Attachments:

Is there anyway to remove all these unnecessary hoses and just get this engine running?
