Just got done with a 120 mile trip on my main street 300 scooter. It is the longest run I have made so far. I traveled thru downtown Mobile, Al, Went thru the old bank head tunnel under beautiful mobile bay, Traveled over the causeway past the famed Battle ship U.S.S Alabama, Thru old town Daphne AL, Past the grand hotel on Point clear, Thru weeks bay, up to The lovely gulf shores AL, Enjoyed lunch at Guido's Italian Bistro, and then back down hwy 59 and headed back home. I rode about 7 miles on I 65 at 70-75 mph steady. This bike handled like a dream and had no problem with keeping up with traffic. My riding partner rode his Piaggio mp3 400 and I kept up with him with little effort. I did not take pictures as I forgot my iPhone (Stupid me). Next trip I wont forget. The attached pic was taken after I got back. I did have a little vibration which is normal for this bike. I had a blast. Abita springs La is next. Can't wait.

Awesome! I visited the Alabama way back in the early 80s when I was in high school.
When I had my Roketa with the 257cc, I wouldn't trust it past 60mph. It had high mileage for a Chinese 250, but others love them. Mine musta been abused. I bought it used.

Congrads! When those chinese scooters are well maintained, and relatively new (broken into), they can last a long time. I personally did a 220 mile tour through the everglades on my TaoTao ATM 50, never will do that again, shoulders hurt like hell, but hey, the Tao held it's part of the bargain!
You keep track of the fuel mileage you get? Usually on the longer trips, the engine is hotter, and fuel mileage goes up. You'd do better choosing mid grade over regular fuel due to this; or perhaps even 93 oct fuel, if you can.. I sometimes do an oilchange right before planning on going on a long trip.

It is a Linhai main street 300 same as a Linhai alelous 300cc. It is a taller windshield than stock I believe. It runs like a bat out of hell and have had it up to 80. It is quick as all get out.

I use mid grade fuel only. I got around 60 mpg on the trip and do oil changes every 1200 miles. It now has a little over 6000 miles on it.

Is the 1,200 mile oil change schedule per the owners manual? Mine has a 6,250 mile schedule which I may double up and do every 3,000 miles for four oil changes per year. Can't see myself doing 10.

It is just my preference. I live in warm climate and these engines tend to run a little hot so I change it more often than normal. Especially after a long run.
