I have a bajaj 125cc single cylinder with 2 spark plugs. Only the one coil sparks. Interchanged the cdi, plug, plug lead, coils but no difference. The cdi has 2 wires coming to the 2 coils. only the 1 wire shows any current. Swap the wires around and the other coil now has current. This shows me all is well from stator to cdi. What am I missing? I disconnected the cut out switch but surely the switch would have an effect on both wires from the cdi and not only one?

Wow I have only seen a dual sparkplug on an old 2T offroad motorcycle a buddy had . Brand unknown but only had one wire and it would work for ether plug
Take your time and trouble shoot it as I know having two will be confusing

Hi Guys. Thank you for the feed back. This system is hailed as the best thing from India. 1 cyl 2 spark plugs, 2 coils. Maybe they think so as the combustion chamber cannot handle the heat ( at least here in RSA) where the temp goes to 40 C. The cdi has 6 wires on the one side and 2 on the other. The 2 wires are for the sensor on the carb to adjust for variable timing. Of the 6 wires 1 is ground, 2 for either coil , 1 power from stator, 1 cutout switch , 1 that I cannot recall. This is a 2010 model bike. If you look on google you find the bajaj discover. Surely if I interchange the 1 wire (that is working) to any coil it works on that plug. This tells me that everything is correct. It is only the other supply wire (also to coil) that is dead. Any suggestions.
