I decided that I wanted to find something new. So I found myself a Imitation BanJing a8 pipe and muffler. Even though, it was very very inexpensive (less then $17...105rmb) the quality is a lot better then the pieces people are getting off of ebay. Nice welds at the flange, pipe to can, and the can itself. Even the mounting is very similar to the stock muffler instead of those around the can straps. I hate those straps...I've already went thru two this summer. Looks wise...nothing fancy...basically a black can with a plastic shroud...so I bought the fake carbon fiber piece to dress it up a little.
Right now I am just waiting on the new heavy duty gasket I ordered and I will give a review on fitment, sound, and performance feel.
I may be in the minority...but...I love the Chinese knock offs.

I got it off a big chinese classified site...but you pretty much have to have someone who can communicate in chinese do the deal for you...Do you have QQ? (similar to messenger but almost everyone in China uses it)

Finished. The sound is the same volume as my old...so feels the performance. But the quality of the sound is slightly less tinny...I attribute to the heavier metal used. The only slight difficulty was where the header attaches to the flange...but a touch with the grinder matched everything up. Fitment was awesome...no problems...took more time to get my tools out. The best part is no more deceleration backfire. For a copy...I would say a very good copy...I like the sound...I like the fit...and I like the look. Attachments:
