has anyone tied using the dyna beads system for balancing their tires if so did they work for you and smooth out your ride? While working on fuel system and valve adjustment when I started it up on the center stand the whole rear of the wheel and engine would shake up and down indicating a tire out of balance. I don't trust some one taking off the rear wheel to balance it so the dyna bead system seems like a good fix has anyone else tried them if so did the really work or are they a waste of money thanks for anyone's response and have a safe and great Holiday this year

I used them on my electric scoot. The rear end would bounce up and down when I hit 40 MPH. Now it is smooth.

I used Dyna Beads last time I replaced my rear wheel. It works really well. Just make sure you have a valve stem removal and a tiny funnel so you can add the beads. These things are much smaller then I expected.
And, don't forget to remove the weights that may already be on the rim once you are done.

Thanks guys for info I am going to invest the money to do it. I'll even put them on my cars as well I hope you all have a wonderful Holiday and new year. When I get my scoot back together and running right I'll be putting on a lot more miles on it before I started work on it I just passed the 1K mark and look forward to many more. A big Holiday bone to all thanks, peacedawg

Never tried them..but now think I will. I usually find by watching the tire spin on the center stand...they are not so much off balance..as they seem to be molded non concentric(Chinese made ones) Michelin are quite costly..but not seen that 'out of roundness' on them. So do the beads seem to work with stock non concentric Chinese made tires?

They can mask other problems that will only become apparent on a dynamic balancer.
I have had 2 out of 7 fail to balance up properly. On the 2 that did not balance the shake was so bad that the beads disintegrated. I forget if those were Equal or DynaBeads. Tire was full of the base fiber ground up like loose fiberglass insulation when we dismounted the tire. Had to be carefull not to aspirate that stuff and it was very difficult to clean up the mess afterwards. Static cling made it stick to everything.
Sometimes going over a chatter bump can throw them off. Then you have to stop so they will settle and then start off again to rebalance the tire. If you are stuck in a traffic flow were it is not safe to stop and start over again then you are stuck with the out of balance ride until you can find a safe spot to stop.
The do not work 100% of the time and they can get really bad all of a sudden. On a bad road you could find yourself pulling over every few miles to get them to re-balance.

I have not tried the balance beads but old school bubble balance with stick on weights work great as it really made it smoother and top speeds
