Not comparable at all. Tires is the LAST area you want to go cheap on a bike. Get the Pirellis or some Avons or something. Your life is not worth the $20 you'll save, is it?

I've used Kenda tires on all of my dual sports for years and have no complaints at all. They have a great ride on and off road and I am going to use them on my scooter when my tires need replacing.

The K413's are actually quite nice, they are a little soft and not very long lasting though but grip is excellent. Definitely a good tire for the money. The K413's are nothing like the ultra hard OEM Kenda tires.

Changed my summer OEM Duro tires (two dangerous pieces of $hit that WILL kill you if wet) to Kenda winter tires. My best purchace so far. And they were just few euros more than unknown Chinese tires.

I've had a Shinko 10 inch on the rear of my Peace 50cc for 8 months. So far so good.

I personally love Kenda. My favorite Kenda tire is the Kenda K764 works great in all weather.

The Shinko SR-425 is even better than the Kenda K413's. They have better grip and surprisingly last longer too. Think of them as about equivalent to the Michelin S1, similar tread pattern too, but not nearly as soft. So all out grip isn't as good but they do last 2-3 thousand miles more. The S1's just seem too soft for me so they wear out quickly.

I'm rolling on the Kenda K413's. Front 120/70/12 Rear 130/70/12. They are soft with good grip. I did go down once on them though. It was not the tires fault though. It had just started to rain very hard and I was a mile or so from home. I was trying to get back home quickly. As my vision was poor with my clear safety glasses on (I know I should have been wearing a helmet, but didn't have one yet, I do now) I raised them up on top of my head while riding at 30-35mph. They flew of my head a few seconds later. I looked back behind me to see where they went. As soon as I looked back forward I was almost at the stop sign two blocks from my house. I had to brake hard at 30mph. As I slowed down very quickly to about 5mph (I'm guessing on that), my front tire locked as it hit that white strip of paint on the road (signifying where to stop). I slammed down hard on my ass, and the scoot slid on it's left side about 8'. Fortunately I was OK. Except a few people saw me bite the dust so to speak. My ego may have been bruised along with my butt. The tires are great in the dry and the wet (minus that slippery ass paint) Avoid the painted lines on the sides & middle of the road. Especially while leaning into turns and coming to a stop at intersections. Those things are slippery when dry and super duper slippery when wet. Also... they are a softer tire so no burn outs if you want them to last a while. Although I did do one when I first got them and they make great big clouds of burnt rubber ;D

That is what I paid... $50 I had the rear ordered and installed at a local bike shop for $80. I did the front myself and it was a pain in the ass to get the old one off and the new one on. I also scratched my rim in the process. So I figured for $30 it would be worth it for them to put on the rear tire and save me the hassle. They have special tool and or a tire machine to do it. I don't.

I put Michelins on my scooters this Fall- Reggaes on one and Boppers on the other. The Reggaes are really good on the messy dirt roads around here. Haven't used the Boppers much, they are a street tire for summer trips out of state. Bigger than the old ones, I like big tires. Attachments:
