He has a longcase...my bad..I was just flipping too fast through what was found. I know Ryan personally...he lives a mile from me...and is an excellent Chinese scoot mechanic...really knows his stuff...probably can completely tear down an engine while blindfolded..so he will know which parts he needs.. He has built some awesome scoots the past few months. That punk kid anyways. ..cause everytime I see his latest project....I gotta get on line to order parts to keep up with his projects....and EVERY time I do...by the time my parts arrive...he has 'one upped' me already.. Then he asked me to race him...I said.."No thanks dude...I already know what your tail lights look like".... ;D

Better off getting a 72cc BBK as the stators have to match up to . You can get the case bored to use a 90 piston and crank

Its not bad for less than 400$ for a never ran 90 cc 2 stroke minarelli. Just a good 50mm bbk will cost you near that and still wouldnt have all new internals and youd have to build it. lol and it wouldnt be 90cc still. If I had a minarelli equipped bike Id buy it also.

90cc long case (or short case) motors are no longer imported generally into the U.S. A few manufacturers may import them, but generic ones are not imported as nobody wants to pay for EPA testing and certification. Any still for sale are current stock only. Last time we had them in they lasted 2 days before selling out.

So he would not need to swap out the stator? But it is frustrating when I buy parts... i.e they say that if I have a 10mm wrist pin...I need a 18mm variator...which I don't.. Wrist pin is 10mm....variator hole and drive boss are 21mm. Then they tell me their 13X34 and 14X34 upgear sets are what I need...when my primary and secondary gears on this longcase engine are 13X44 and 13X52 due to its very high profile 12 inch tires.. Do you run into the same issues finding parts for your longcase?...cause it is annoying to me at times..

Love the look of that scooter but have never laid hands on one but that 90 cc motor will work fine at the most u will have to switch out stator not the hardest thing to do but will take a couple of hours

The weird thing was about 6 months after they imported them. they imported another model..it was the same exact scoot..paint job and decals..but they named it the Wasp. Following year...same exact scoot..and now they call them the "Raptor F-1"... Ryan is the one seeking the 90cc engine..I am happy with my Hoca 72 BBK..but as mentioned before..I HAVE to upgear cause 45mph is about 10,000 rpm..top end of 52 by GPS is right at 11,000 RPM.. I typically cruise at 40..but the upgears would add a safety margin on rpm's and reduce my fuel consumption cause this thing really sucks the gas quickly running that high.. I only ride it WOT about 50 yards or so when I wanna fly by a stock 50cc going 32 and I am going 52... ;D....that always blows their mind.. They end up pulling in alongside me at the store or gas station and ask.."What in the hell is that thing?"... I say.."It's a 50cc scooter..see the decal on the back fender vice a license plate?"...lol

One thing about changing gears is you need more power to turn them at lower rpms which corresponds to more fuel used, I average less than 30 mpg with my 6.89 gears if Im not doing highway speeds.
