I bought a Kymco Agility 50 in August, it has not given me any trouble until a week ago when I drove it out at night and it didn't start for 15 or twenty minutes, I left the key in with the battery on while reading the manual and after ten or so minutes of that it started. I chocked it up to the temp and that was that. And now yesterday I drove it at night again(i normally don't do that) when it was very cold and it wouldn't start even after 50 minutes of trying every which way. It wouldn't kick start or electric start. I've been using it every other day this week.
The similarities are striking in that both times the bike was very low on fuel and it was very cold out(two of the coldest times I've used it). Any ideas? It's only 4 months old so it's still in warranty.
It has 1600 kilometers on it and I had it's original service done so it shouldn't need another for a little while.
Thanks

How does it idle when it does run?

Sounds like the electric choke is not working . Remove it and see if it moves with power is supplied . Since under warranty however you may need to let your dealer test it to avoid voiding the warranty . All small engines will run bad when cold and NEED to be warmed up prior to riding . More so the colder it is . When the choke is working the idle should be higher when its cold outside .
That is another way EFI is so darn good as my Echarm always starts up instantly even when it was 18 degrees outside
