Sweet Hank :-) very very sweet, great work, Ohh yes love the old mini bikes, chain driven, 3 to 5 hp briggs and stratton engines, centrifugal clutch, brakes that never worked very well.. We used to play minibike soccer on them, needless to say it was a neighborhood hit ( Pun Intended ) :-)... Ohhh those were the days..

59 here. I rode a motorcycle back in my 20s and early 30's, and got a scooter a year ago. I missed those 25 years on 2 wheels.

47. Never rode a scooter or a motorcycle until late April early May this year. Other than once or twice getting soaked, there hasn't been a time I got on it that I didn't enjoy riding it, cold or hot outside. That's even when ever three or four rides you have to watch out for the cars who aren't always watching out for you.

Wow I'm really surprised to see the trend of ages on here! I had no idea everyone here was this... experienced? I'm a few weeks shy of 22 and just got my first motorcycle about a year ago, now on my 2nd scooter already and looking forward to the next million miles

When I was 12 years old my brothers got a cushman scooter and made a side car frame for it. We would ride it around in the field next to the house wide open leaning into the side car. What fun. No helmets - We were lucky---or hard headed. They then got a wizzer motor bike and that was the nuts. I was not allowed to ride it but when they were gone temptation got the best of me. I never got caught. Then came my 500cc Matchless, a 1957 650 BSA, A 1959 650 BSA, 650 Triumph Bonneville, A 305 Honda, 650 Yamaha twin, 650 Yamaha maxim, Kawasaki 800 Vulcan, 95 Harley Dyna Glide, and a Kawasaki 1500cc Vulcan. 68 years old and back to a scooter now--150cc Tao ATM 150 A----Lots of fun---BBK this winter. All the bikes have been a blast--- Lots of miles with friends and no broken bones--Knock on wood--Always did and still do all my mechanical work. My Dad and older brothers were ace mechanics and it rubbed off. Best regards Fellow Dawgs, Mak

I'm 59 years young. I started with a Sears mini-bike when I was around 12 and graduated to a red and white moped with three speed on the left grip which was cool. I don't recall what the brand was. Then had a Honda CB 160. When I lived and worked in the Northwest Mountains of NC, I rode a Honda CB360 and that was a lot of fun. Later in life, I got a Yamaha VStar 1100, which I really dressed out, and rode that for several years. Matter of fact, I just recently took it to Arkansas and gave it to my son. Due to knee, neck, and shoulder problems, I didn't think that I would be riding again...until I discovered the maxi-scooters! Found one like brand new at a deal that I just couldn't refuse...a 2008 SYM RV250, and I feel like a kid again! This is the most fun that I've had since my mini-bike! So easy to drive, ride, get on and off, maintain...with plenty of power! Plus, the almost 70 miles to the gallon! What's not to love?!

Turning 25 feb 28th 2013. Ripping it up with muscle cars. Had a 1996 Impala SS LT1 then moved up to a 2006 GTO LS2. I bought the scooter because I wanted to feel the MPG baby!. I now love riding scooters around the city saving money and getting trough the cracks!
I had a 80cc suzuki fourwheeler when I was 8 years old loved going off ramps with it.

Just noticed your post. Sorry for the long delay. Looks like we have a lot in common, especially in the different bikes in our pasts. I will add the Bultaco, Ariel and Saroléa ( 500cc single), oh yeh, a KHK Harley was in the mix briefly. Went back to motorcycles, after that but my first road bike was a '48 Indian Chief. For the record I am a bit over 76.
