65, and feeling every minute of it - until I get on a scooter!
Rode motorcycles until I was 31 and had a bad highside. In early 2008, my wife saw an ad for a sale on scooters, and we've had 13 since then!

I am 74 and started at 16. My first was a small Harley which I used to swap with my friends Cushmans. Over the years I have had both scooters and cycles.

40; 10 when on scooter. Have wanted one since I was 4 or 5 years old. I had never even ridden one in my life when I bought mine; rode Harleys, Hondas, Kawasakis, but no scooters. This is where it's at!

I'm almost 31, poor and don't own other vehicles except for my 50cc yoghurt cup. I ride like 30 miles every day.

I come off as being really immature, so I'm afraid to admit that I'm 48 and started riding at 46. I'm a definite sufferer of Peter Pan Syndrome, so bear with me, please. Peter Pan syndrome----http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2007/05/070501112023.htm The only cure is to buy another scoot Loncindawg. Working on it. Thanks for the link. *Update: Fascinating ... and scary - for me.

I'm 42, and just started riding this month. The only other motorcycle's I've ridden was my friends 175 Kawasaki, 20 some odd years ago. I rode it just long enough to get comfortable on it, less the 20 miles. I also have a Gas bike that I've had for a few months.
Less then a month and I have put 500 miles on the scooter (bought it the 3rd). My scooter is the most fun I've ever had with a vehicle and that includes my old jet ski and wave runner.

54 and been riding since I was 12. Got my 1st moped (with pedals) in the mid 70s and have had a scoot ever since. I quit even driving a car 10 or 15 years ago, prefer my scooter.

I'm 35, started riding dirt bikes at 14, street legal dirt bikes at 18 then switched to the scooterlike Honda Pacific coast about three years ago to do some touring.
Still love riding my Tomos Nitro 50 to work, even in the winter unless it's icy on the roads.

86 here - closer to 87 than 86. Took a ride today on my new HD200 and loved it! Been riding 2 wheelers off and on since my early 20's. Following retirement I have owned a Majesty, a B65, a B400, recently a CSC motorcycle - I did not like the shifting - so sold it last month and now have the SYM HD200 which has a lot of power and speed and I can move it easily in my garage.
Live young - and long - and prosper!

John, I think you will win whatever prize is out there. I am 63 and I ride with ScooterBelle, an 80 year old Southern lady from Wilmington, NC. She could give a course in the proper use and care of white cotton gloves...it would be a two semester course.
I came late to scoots; been a motorcycle rider most of my life. Scoots are a real hoot. My Goldwing feels abandoned.

43 first year of riding.
Wanted a motorcycle for my midlife crisis, wife said "no". So I bought a scooter.
Ride it mostly to make an occasional trip to work and errands more fun. Would still like to add a new Ninja 300 to the collection for rides with motorcycle friends but like the ease of the twist and go for in the city.

62. Got my first Honda 47 years ago, rode motorcycles of various sizes for 20 years, took 25 years off while raising kids, and started back with a scooter when my daughter blew up her engine and needed to borrow my truck to get to work this summer.
Happy to be back on 2 wheels. Driving = chore; riding = fun. Simple as that.
