I don't know if y'all are weird enough to do this, but sometimes I just type something that might be a web address and see where it takes me. Here's today's: www.purple.comThought you might enjoy it. (Still saving, slower than I thought... found a 79 silverwing for sale...wonder if there's parts available for that one?) Katie

Katie in 79 The Honda Silverwing was a 500cc V-Twin Touring Motorcycle with the cylinders in a V configuration but side to side like a Moto Guzzi not front to back like a Harley. Not a Scooter and very under powered for it's size! But there are parts for it. Get the scooter Katie. As to the website....hmmm.

I remember years ago seeing jillions of those motorcycles on the roads all over. Honda must have sold them by the many thousands. They were pretty neat at the time, V Twin like a MotoGuzzi, water cooled, shaft drive (no drive chain). I think they were sort of the ultimate commuter bike at the time. Another super common motorcycle is the ubiqutous Honda CB350 (a vertical twin engined machine). Honda probably sold several million of those too.

Honda also made the CX500 that had that engine.
