Hi everyone, I'm new here. I went last Saturday to test ride the new 650gt. What a bike, it doesn't sound, ride or sit like any scooter i've ever been on. Aftre the test ride the dealer made me a deal I couldn't pass up so I bought it ;D
I've been on my Vog 260 for over 2 years now, been riding for over 30 years. Needless to say I'm no spring chicken anymore, so comfort matters alot. BMW exceeded any and all expectations I had. This bike is smooth and fsat. It has everything, heated seats and grips, tire pressure moniters, electric height on the windshield,led tail and signals, the head lights will put alot of autos to shame. I could go on and on, it is one sweet ride.

wow congratulations . That's an awesome ride!! I drove the 600 last weekend. It to is just as nice with just a slightly lower seat height.

Thanks everyone for the welcome. I'll get pics up soon. I'm showing to be getting 47mpg. I have 319 miles on her so far, not bad for 1 week.
i let a friend ride it today, he said that is the smoothest bike he has ever been on motorcycle or scooter. I ordered a back rest and put it on today. My wife won't feel like she will fly off when i punch it. I guess I need a GO PRO so I can take a video.

If Bond rode a scooter, it would be a 650GT. Looks great.
My wife wants a BMW Z4. We could buy three 650GTs for the same money. I think the lighter C600 would work better for me.

If I understand right there is only 26 pounds difference between the 2 models. For about a grand or so more you get alot more bike. |
