I recently purchased a new exhaust for my cn250 scooter along with a new Honda bando belt sliders 17g. I know I have to replace the stock filter box with a free flowing filter any suggestions? Also what size is the stock carb do I need to upgrade the carb or just do some tuning with the stock carb?

One of the first items I bought when I got my BR is get a full service manuel, I use this thing more and more all the time. I'd also look at rejetting over a new carb myself. I followed some great tutorials by BRed and and my machines run sooo much better....without paying a scooter mechanic, $65.00 and hour. Many Honda guys are running the KN filters, but I've not done any reading towards your type of scooter and it's needs. Have fun with it man!

On our yy250t I went to a UNI filter out of neccessity. The filter air box rotted (cheap china rubber). You will property have to re-jet. I didn't have to because of the altitude i live at. It runs better now but it's noisier. I wear ear plugs, so it's not an issue.
If you go this route, try to support the carb. without the air filter housing, it's just hanging in space. And read your plug. Your stock carb should be a 30mm. Mine is.
