Does anyone know generally how many grams the stock roller weights are when you purchase a 250cc with the cn250 helix motor yy250t? Reason I am asking is I just purchased some nylon rollers 23x18 17g. I know the lighter the rollers quicker takeoff, I just want to make sure I did not go too light. Thanks in advance.

Original Honda Helix rollers are the size you've purchased. Not aware of what the clones were running. You should be OK.

In my Honda BR, there was 156 grams of orginal rollers. I went to 120grams. Rollers in one BR, sliders in the other one. I also rejetted them both, and wow what huge difference...like a new machine. Any of us that like to tweak your scooters, have a few weights around to dial in to your specific likness, as I'm a fat guy, so what worked killer good for me, may not be optimal for your machine. Mix them up try out a few different configurations. Check out your belt while your in there, and my last must do piece of advice, get a good air nozzle and blow out all that nasty black powder from your clutch!! Mine BILLOWED out nasty powder. I did not remove it, (clutch) just spun it and blasted it with all the air my compressor could produce.

Mine had 24 gram rollers. I bought a new variator from Scrappy and it had 24 gram as well. Hope this helps.

Just checked with scrappy, they say the cn250 comes standard with 26g rollers. I think 17g will be too light I will purchase 20g as a backup.

My scale must be two grams light. That means i've been giving away........never mind.
You can mix up your rollers. Just keep equal weight rollers accross from each other. That way you can come up with all sorts of weight combos.

Stock is in the neighborhood of 26 grams. I tried 24 on a customers the other day....seemed to run fine, although I think it could have gone a little lighter....say maybe....23 ?

Stock roller in the Helix (real CN250) are 23 grams. Its a good mix of top end and take off. I went with 26 gr sliders and am happy with both take off and the extra top end speed. 21 is about as light as I would go.
