I have the Aeolus 260, and have already put a 13" rear wheel on, and am very pleased with it. It appears that all scooters classified as "touring" scooters have the same front wheel. I am unable to find this style wheel in anything other than the 12". So I was wondering if I am going to need to change my front forks to make a 13" wheel work on this scooter? And if so, what forks are compatible and where can I get them? Also what other hardware would I need and where can I get it? Your help is greatly appreciated!

Maybe a 14" Wheel with a fork change???

The outer diameter of the wheel is important. It makes very little sense to put a 12in rim on there with normal tire, or put a 13 in rim on it with a thin tire. As long as the outside diameter of the tire remains the same, having a bigger tire/smaller rim is more comfortable, and preferable.

I understand. But I'd like to put the larger tire on the front. 110/90-13 if I remember correctly. Worst part is, I've already got the tire and rim. But if it can't be done, I guess I'll have to try and return those. Not possible to do a fork change?

As long as the fork tubes are the same diameter, you should be able to do it. If they are the same, it should be an easy swap. if they are different, you will need the steering stem and it may not fit the frame neck or the steering bearings.

Ok, I'll have to check to see if the fork tubes are the same diameter. If they are, they will be the correct distance apart for the rim without changing the triple tree?
Also, I don't want a 13" and a thin tire, I want a 13" and a big tire. Yeah, for the rear I probably didn't need to change the rim since they make bigger rear tires. But I can't get a bigger front tire without upgrading the rim.

Try to contact BMS scooters, they might have a rim for you from parts, from the BMS TBX 260. It's a 13in rim with wide tire.
Suzuki actually uses 14 in rims. Whichever fits... Though putting another rim on the bike, may require you to calibrate the disc brakes, or it may not even fit your bike at all!

A taller tire may require longer fork tubes or may have clearance problems. Rear tires also may be limited by clearance between the tire and the engine.

It looks like the yy250 has longer forks and appears that they are 33mm and I believe the Aeolus is as well. So I'll need whatever hardware goes in between the forks and the wheel as well as speed sensor.

You will probably need just the axle spacers for the new forks, if need be you can even fabricate those to suit your new setup. Measure the distance between the forks on your old setup and when you install the new forks, it may be that the hardware you have now will work with out modification.

I think I am going to need new speed sensor, spacers, axel, brake caliper and brake rotor. Does anyone know where I can get these for the best price? I'm not sure exactly which ones I need.

Was just looking at a diagram and it looks like my brake will now be on the left side. that sucks, cause I'm gonna have to pay to have em switch the tire back....
