I have a 2004 TNG Venice 49 (QS50QT-5) that has no spark. My local shop doesn't specialize in TNG or chinese scooters. They think it's the alarm system although the starter motor turns over the engine and lights and horn work. I had starting problems for the past two years but it always started after much cranking and very slow putt putt putt. After a minute of that it came up to regular idle. No problems while riding or starting when warm. Can anyone direct me to a replacement alarm module or give me instructions to wire around it? Or ideas not related to alarm? Thanks.

unplug alarm module and see if it works, it should start w/ module unplugged, if not, probably a bad CDI or coil.
