Ok so I jumped the gun some the other night and ordered a Racing CDI, Red Hot Ignition Coil and Iridium Spark Plug from Scrappy Dog Scooters
I later e-mailed a request to Cancel my order once I realized I did not want to get into the potential issues that a higher end CDI with advance timing can cause on a stock scooter.
So I emailed him with a simple polite request to cancel the order.
I started doing more and more research and then decided to e-mail him again and Adjust the order for standard replacement parts.
In the mean time I get a reply to my initial cancel e-mail
His reply to that original request was in my eyes kind of short and rude.
His e-mail was literally one word "why"
I sent the following reply.
That was my last e-mail out that night. I heard nothing more from him so I assume he either was AFK or went to sleep.
The next morning I get a alert that my order was shipped. So I feared the worse. I thought he simply ignored me and went and shipped the parts I did not want.
So I e-mailed him again.
His reply
So as you can see so far the situation has been excellent. I mean when he thought I was going to cancel the order he was short and not too friendly. Which I sort of understand being upset at a customer cancelling an order but in my business when customers cancel we always remain friendly and professional.
Now I have not had the balance refunded to my PayPal yet but I am giving him some time before e-mailing about that.
I will also update this post with more information when the parts Arrive. See if any are DOA or not.
So keep an eye out. I hope this turns out to be a great deal because he has some other parts I want later down the road.
He also has lots of posts here and on other forums that are good reviews for his services.

Richard,
sorry to write again. I have been reading more and more threads on Scootdawg forums and 49cc scoot forums.
The parts on my order were for my girlfriends scooter she uses as her main transportation. I am fairly sure it lost its CDI yesterday and I had to pay a tow truck to bring it home. Stator still puts out great AC to the CDI and trigger gets good current but there is hardly anything going to the ignition coil.
Her scooter is not modified in any way shape or form. After researching I do not want to put a higher end CDI on and advance the timing, to many potential issues for a daily commuter. Her scooter needs to just be stock and running without issues.
I want a replacement CDI, Ignition Coil and Plug.
If you can substitute the following items on my order and refund me the difference in price I would greatly appreciate it and gladly continue with the order.
standard CDI
quantity 1
$9.99
standard coil
quantity 1
$9.99
CR7 Iridium spark plug
quantity 1
$9.95
Item total:$29.93
Shipping and handling:loading...$12.50
Total:$42.43 USD
That is direct from your paypal cart.
Original order total = $72.35
New order total = $42.43
Difference = $29.92
So if you will do that order and please refund me 29.92 for the difference I would greatly appreciate it.
Also does the standard CDI you guys sell have the rev limit on it? or is it unrestricted. My understanding is basically all new cdi's are unrestricted.
I appreciate any help you can give me here and hope this is a smooth transaction
again I am really sorry about the double e-mails. I thought I had all my research until I read more on the subject.
Thanks
Jonathan
