Hi all, I have been lurking for awhile and have a question. I have a 2006 Tank 250CC that I bought this summer, suddenly I have no headlights, they used to automatically come on when I started the scoot, now they don't. When i push the dimmer switch down into the passing position they come on, but you have to hold the switch in that position. I thought the switch was bad, ordered a new one put it on, same thing. Any ideas?

;D Ya, it could be a wiring issue.. My Bali 250 had the dimmer switch go bad. Lights would not come on, but the tail lights, turn signals, emergency flashers worked. But in my case, it was the dimmer switch. It might be a wiring issue. Check the headlight wiring to make sure all wires are connecting. It also could be a fuse.. My Bali 250 has alot more fuses than most. 6 15w fuses and another type connected to the stereo.. It has never blown a fuse, but it is always possible.. Attachments:

Do you have a VOM and know how to use it? If not Harbor freight generally had a decent one cheap. Get it and play with it a bit learning how to use it. Maybe find someone to teach you and buy hime a beer or two. Do you have a wiring diagram for your scoot? If not most generic scoot wiring diagrams will help you figure it out.
Good luck.
