Does anyone know what the black switch on the accelerator handle, just above the ignition is for? It has 3 settings. I have a Roketa 250b. Attachments:

I have 3 on my Bali 250... One is a Kill switch, a Starter switch, and a Emergency flasher switch on the Bali 250.. But your Kill switch looks as if it is the top one( Red) which is my Emergency Flashers, My switch at the bottom is my Starter Switch same as yours, My Kill Switch is the middle switch and yours don't say.... Puzzling...

The red is the kill switch and the yellow is the ignition, but the black is definitely not the flashers. When I switch it, no lights blink.

Just read the "fun to read" manual on the roketa website. Apparently this switch is for turning the headlights and rear lights on and off for night and day riding. However, mine does no such thing... it's just a switch.

It is a Switch of light--It turns on and off lights for daylight riding.. This is Chinese bull all the way around.. lol.. It claims mine does not have a hazard switch. Somewhat like yours.. Idiots...

The switch is a dummy switch on the 250B with the linhai but is used on the sister version in Europe for on/off headlights with the vertical engine.

His scooter is the 250B with the linhai not the Bali 250 with the vertical engine, different engine, different body style.

I have a JCP MP250 withe the linhai 257 engine. That switch is actually desinged to be the head lite on off switch, however in the usa our lights have to be on all the time so the switch simply is not used. It does nothing but is there on all so it will fit any applications. Our lites are wired to be on all them time. Barnie

On the 250A and 250B the switch is non-functional, doesn't even have wire connectors on the back, it will not even move. Take the switch apart and you'll see it's just the slde button or simply a fake switch.

It's probably the same as on my BMS 260. The switch is real, and has wires running from it. When you follow the wires to a connector plug under the instrument panel, you'll see they're not connected to anything. You can use the wires to feed power to, say LED mods, like a tail light in your trunk, or under bike LED strips. I used one to power a LED strip I installed in my trunk, to see when it's dark.
On mine there is a phase, and an L1 wire (wire which you can turn on or off. The 3-way switch can only turn on one wire, the second setting is not connected.

I'ts just like mack said a dummy switch has no wires or any connections for wires, you press on the button very hard and it'll snap off and leave a hole in the switch assembly, nothing like your scooter.

On the 2008 Roketa mc-79-250 it turns on the instrument cluster lights and small driving lights below the main lights. Only has on/off positions.

It might go to lights but is not hooked up as some bikes arnt. It is required to have the switch just not working.

Daytime running lights are a DOT requirement so a switch that turns them off would be disabled on a bike distributed in the USA.
