i just replaced the throttle sleeve on my Bali got it all put back together, now my brake lights wont come on therefor causing it not to start because the kill switch isn't getting tripped. any suggestions for a good site with diagrams?

Could be a fuse under the seat too... The other week, I had to replace the dimmer switch on headlights. Than one day, the scooter would not start.. Checked fuses- no it wasn't the fuses. Checked the battery to make sure getting good connection. It started right up.. 9 times out of 10, it is a simple solution.

Sort of strange, but the Chinese came up with the MC-13-250 Bali scooter after the 1998 -2002 Honda FES 250...

all the fuses are good im starting to suspect the kill switch itself but that still doesnt explain why the brake lights dont work.

What about the other brake? Do both brakes fail to trigger the brake light?

i can grab both brakes and nothing happens i think they run off one switch but i could have them wired wrong. i had to take the wires loose to change the throttle sleeve. i switched the wires in every combo i can think of witch is why i suspect the kill switch or the brake switch

I had a similar issue on my scooter, it turns out the brake switches fit somewhat loosely and they had moved to the point that they just didn't make the required contact with the levers anymore, I put a couple zip ties on the to hold them snugly into place and now they work like a charm.
